Hog Roast Worrall Rustled Up A Tasty Spread At A Job Fair!

Hog Roast WorrallJob fairs are an excellent way for employers to fill their vacancies without having to spend several weeks screening CVs and holding multi-part interviews in their search to find the perfect candidate. These increasingly popular events instead give managers the chance to recruit fresh talent in person, which is a win-win for everyone involved!

For eager job seekers, the chance to meet with a room full of potential employers is a rare opportunity that allows them to explore many different career options in one day by talking to each recruiter, asking questions and listening to expert-led seminars.

Unsurprisingly, the convenience and cost-effective nature of job fairs has seen a sharp rise in the frequency of these events, which is good news for everyone – including those of us here at Hog Roast Worrall! And why is that, I hear you wonder? Well, since these events can last all day, it’s natural that people will get hungry, which is, of course, where we come into the picture!

Delivering fresh, wholesome and tasty food to the masses is what Hog Roast Worrall does best, so when our most recent client, Carol, was in the early stages of prepping for the region’s latest career fair, she knew she had to get us involved! As always, our team couldn’t wait to help out and our catering manager worked closely with Carol to find the perfect menu for the occasion.

Hog Roast WorrallAfter weeks of planning, the job fair finally went ahead last week, and the turnout was better than Carol, or any of the recruiters, could have hoped! Hundreds of job seekers turned up to the event, which was held at a nearby conference centre.

In between approaching the local employers and asking about the details of their available jobs, the candidates were thrilled to have something delicious to sink their teeth into, courtesy of Hog Roast Worrall’s highly-skilled catering crew!

Our team had prepared our famous pulled pork rolls with crackling, stuffing, applesauce and mixed fries for the occasion, along with BBQ-pulled jackfruit cobs with plant-based coleslaw as a vegan-friendly option, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
