The event went so smoothly and professional, the staff, Chris, Kayleigh & Todd were polite and took a genuine interest in making our event fabulous.
The food was excellent and you don’t get any more fresh than onsite preparation. It’s a credit to the team serving so many people efficiently and keeping all the food hot.
We discussed a potential requirement for both a summer event and indeed next Christmas with Kayleigh so I anticipate being in touch mid ‘24

The Spitting Pig (South Yorkshire) were excellent and we would recommend them to anyone looking to book a Hog Roast for an event. We were let down last minute by another supplier and The Spitting Pig (South Yorkshire) stepped in and did not disappoint.
The set up was professional and the food was amazing – they also provided gluten free and vegetarian options which other Hog Roast companies did not.

As I said to Steven (chef who came down the night before), throughout the booking process the whole Spitting Pig Team have been professional but friendly and quick to respond to our questions and requests.
The consideration on where to set up on the day was greatly appreciated.
On the day this professionalism and warmth continued. The person (sorry forgotten his name, the local franchisee) who set up and prepped the food was great and the whole team made us feel very special and made sure we were happy with everything. They were a credit to the Spitting Pig Brand.
I would have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone.

I wanted to plan a surprise congratulations party for my wife when she got a new job and you were definitely the right choice! My wife has a real sweet tooth so i wanted to make sure that the desserts played a main part in the food! They certainly did, she tried all of them! The chocolate torte was the winner though, everybody said how fantastic it was.

First of all I would like to thank you all for a very professional service, from start to finish I have been in safe hands….that was very important to me. Colin and Louis were lovely, they came to the house very discreetly (our son had no idea they were coming), the event was a fiftieth birthday party for our son, we had lots of family join us. The roast was perfect, just as Colin had promised, very moist, it went down a treat with everyone, we had the accompaniments usually served, chips , salad and halloumi skewers.
On the whole we were absolutely delighted and would certainly recommend you all, once again thank you so much.

From the point of contact with your company you have proven to be attentive and personal with your approach. I talked straight to someone in the office who are were polite and after a short call an enquiry was made with a promise of a response within the hour and that is what we got. A representative contacted us with menus and prices and before we know it our event date was saved and we started counting down the days. Our caterer turned up to our event with plenty of time and got set up and instantly we could tell this was to a professional standard. The set up looked lovely and the hog roast looked even better. To celebrate gyms re-opening the other month and to treat all of the trainers and staff at my gym, we had an outdoor employee buffet. The team had found being away from each other really hard and had worked really hard to get us back in a position for opening our doors back up. They Hog Roast Dringhouses guys had so many options for us to suit all tastes and diet, which was perfect, since fitness fans can be picky eaters sometimes! They took every precaution to keep COVID-safer, from wearing masks and gloves to bringing their own hand sanitiser for us to use and spreading the buffet tables out so we could queue up at a safe distance. They were super friendly and the food was brilliant – would recommend!
