I could not recommend Spitting Pig enough to people! Absolutely fantastic and pure professionals. From the very beginning, with emailing the admin/sales team, everyone has been responsive, kind and quick to reply. When approaching the wedding, the chef contacted me and I had full confidence in him. He was easy to talk to, experienced and knowledgeable. On the day, the presentation of the food was one of the highlights of the day, the grazing table looked amazing. After that, we had a variety of meats and sides and it was all incredible. Will definitely find an excuse to use the spitting pig again. Team on the day were also extremely happy and friendly and kept food back for us (bride and groom)- I cannot thank them enough!

Absolute fantastic company. From the first enquiry to after the event. I could not fault them. Replied quickly and was so informative. The food was fabulous, plenty of it and cooked so well. The staff said it’s the best we’ve had. There was choice for all dietaries and when they said they can serve everyone quickly- they really did pull this out the bag which keeps staff even happier when they don’t have to queue for long periods. The choice of menu was great, lots of variety and accompanied by salads/ sauces etc. The staff on the day were so friendly and happy, it was a pleasure to meet Ben, Kerry and James they were lovely and so attentive! We will be looking forward to welcoming them back again in the near future!

Lovely staff everyone got seconds .As I’m a vegetarian I had a variety of choices although meat eaters have a gorgeous selection of meat and veggies almost got tempted to eat it 🤣🤣🐖 😋 😄

Exceptional Service and Delicious Food… Highly Recommended! We recently had the pleasure of working with The Spitting Pig for our summer staff event at RoseDowns in Hull, and they truly exceeded all expectations.
From the moment they arrived, their team was friendly, professional, and incredibly well organised. The setup was seamless, and they created a welcoming atmosphere that our staff thoroughly enjoyed. The hog roast itself was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. Many of our team commented that it was the best they had ever had!
The sides and accompaniments were equally impressive, catering to a variety of tastes and dietary needs. What really stood out was their attention to detail and genuine passion for what they do. It made a huge difference to the success of our event, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience.

We used the Spitting Pig for our daughter’s birthday party and everything went perfectly from start to finish. The staff were friendly and well organised and the food was better than we could have hoped for. I would recommend them to anyone who needs stress free catering.

What an amazing experience! A Gourmet BBQ to remember on our wedding day. Such great help from Kate at the start to help us decide what food to choose for our wedding day. From then Ria and Paul made contact with us to work out all the precise details for the day. We were absolutely thrilled with the food we had on Saturday and it was thoroughly enjoyed by all our guests. We would definately reccomend to anyone!!!! Thank you so much for everything!

The Team were great communicating and planning right up until the time of the event. The set up was professional and staff friendly and professional. The food was delicious with everyone requesting seconds and still plenty of food left over. Will definitely use them again for future events

Spitting Pig came to our factory to serve food for 100 members of staff, as part of our Christmas Celebration and prize draw event. We had a hog roast with apple sauce, roast potatoes, coleslaw and salad. They set up in our car park and served piping hot food from 10.30am to 12.30pm. The whole service from booking to set up was so easy. The service on the day was fantastic and the food was beautiful. Would not hesitate to recommend Spitting Pig for any special occasion or event.

Our pre-wedding hog roast dinner at Euridge Manor, catered by Spitting Pig, was a great addition to our wedding weekend festivities! The food was incredible—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and plentiful. There was so much left over that we were able to enjoy it as a post-wedding midnight snack the following day, which was a real treat.
The chef was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, making the whole experience even better. His expertise really shone through in the quality of the roast, and he was a pleasure to have around. The presentation was spot-on, with a wide range of delicious additions to customize each plate. Even our dogs couldn’t stop staring, eagerly waiting for their portion!

To be honest, I don’t know where to start! Firstly, the customer service we received from booking them, all the way through to the actual event was really great, helpful with all my questions and were in contact to ensure all was going to plan. They turned up when expected and were really friendly and just got on with setting up happily. We ordered a hog roast with stuffing and a vegan option of halloumi and veg skewers, with sweet potato fries and salad/coleslaw as a side for 100 people … it was absolutely incredible, I cannot even begin to describe how good, everyone kept coming up to me saying how amazing it was. The staff happily left us the remainder of the food that wasn’t consumed and this was gone pretty much within the hour after the staff left the event as people just couldn’t get enough of it! On top of that, the staff were so great, happily chatting away to us and overall just had a really good vibe! I will happily be recommending Spitting Pig to anyone that needs catering!

The team catered for 40 with minimum fuss and followed all special requests. The team were great and even more importantly the food was amazing and we had enough left over for seconds for the day after. Great service and I would definitely use the team again.

They were great. A really professional outfit, and very passionate about their food and service. I really cannot recommend them highly enough to do justice to their performance at my 50th birthday party.
We were worried that for a smart black tie event that they would not be the right thing, but they were wonderful. They were invariably professional, well organised, accommodating and efficient people with which to deal. The pork itself was juicy and really delicious – cooked for hours – they had woken at 4am to have it ready for 8:30pm but the crackling was what attracted the highest praise. The sides and salads were all great too – and they served my birthday cake with their usual efficiency. They seemed to be a really well run and friendly team of people too, if only more businesses were like them.
