Hog Roast Adwick upon Dearne’s latest event was a very pretty, very chilly December wedding party. The team were very excited when Clients Jasmine and Tony hired them to cater their wedding party.
The ceremony was taking place in the morning and the happy couple wanted a delicious lunchtime buffet for them and their 28 guests to enjoy. Clients Jasmine and Tony worked with the team to come up with a tasty buffet menu that would enchant their wedding guests and meet their budget.
Kind and experienced Chef Marcus was given the task of bringing the buffet to life for the wedding party. He arrived at the lakeside cabin venue for the party several hours before the 1pm serving time. There was plenty of time for him to set up the catering gazebo, lights and cooking equipment before getting to work on creating all the dishes for the buffet fresh from scratch.
The buffet that Chef Marcus put together was exactly as Clients Jasmine and Tony wanted it to be. There was slow spit roasted free range chicken that was served with chipolata and homemade onion gravy. And there was of course also a delicious vegetarian options available. Alongside these tasty dishes there was also platters of piping hot seasonal vegetables and a big tray of warm new potatoes in a herb butter. Finishing off the buffet was a basket of soft rolls and all sorts of dips and sauces.
The wedding party started to arrive at the pretty, warm venue just after midday. The guests were able to take lots of pictures of the happy couple in front of the misty lake, and when they went indoors to warm up the buffet was ready for them to enjoy.
As part of their catering package the Hog Roast Adwick upon Dearne team provided the guests with china crockery and cutlery to use.
After the buffet had been enjoyed Chef Marcus quietly and discreetly tidied away. All the rubbish from the buffet was taken away by Chef Marcus and was disposed of safely and responsibly.
The Clients were delighted! The buffet had been everything they had wanted and more, it had made their day perfect.
