Hog Roast Parkgate had the honour of catering for a Christening last weekend. It had been some time since our team last worked at a Christening event, so we were very excited and determined to blow the client, Bethany, away with a superb meal plan!
Working closely with the first-time mum and taking all of her needs and wants into consideration, our experienced catering manager, Chris, was able to find the perfect group dining solution for the day: the Alfresco Menu.
As the name suggests, this feast is specially designed for outdoor shindigs and is renowned for bringing people together, which was perfect for the open-air party Bethany had organised to take place after her daughter’s ceremony.
The client was especially intrigued by the inclusion of our Italian-inspired charcuterie boards, which served as a centrepiece for each table and featured an assortment of cold-cut meats, rich cheeses, artisan bread, olives, sun dried tomatoes and a selection of dressings.
The real star of the show, however, was the hog roast. Slow-grilled to perfection and served with a variety of sumptuous sides, including gourmet coleslaw, roasted new potatoes and salads, our trademark hog roast was an instant hit with the guests, who praised the tenderness and flavour of the meat.
Once again, Hog Roast Parkgate’s talented chefs provided a truly exceptional feast, which was loved by the whole family. Even the youngest children and great-grandparents, who Bethany warned us can be very picky, were impressed by the spread!
The christening was a beautiful event, full of laughter and joy, which was brought to a conclusion with a dessert banquet. Rounding off a wonderful feast, Hog Roast Parkgate treated the guests to our famous cheesecake and chocolate torte puddings.
We are so proud to have been part of such a special event, and our team worked very hard to ensure that the christening was an unforgettable day for everyone by providing delicious food and warm hospitality.
