Earlier this year, Hog Roast Hemsworth was hired to provide catering for a sports taster day taking place at a local tennis club. The event was being hosted as a way to attract new people to the club and hopefully build a new wave of young players. To further draw in new people, a delicious buffet menu was added to the event, in the form of Hog Roast Hemsworth’s classic slow-roast menu. This is a versatile menu and is one that is sure to go down a treat at an event such as this, as it is full of delicious and nutritious dishes.
In preparation for the event, the Hog Roast Hemsworth team is planning on arriving at the club with plenty of time to prepare for the 1:00pm serving time. Our menu will be on offer until 3:00pm to allow as many guests as possible the chance to try the menu. In preparation for the meal, we will slow-roast our hog to perfection on-site and it will be expertly carved by our chef. The sliced meat will then be served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we will also be serving homemade chips and a selection of salad dishes to create a varied and delicious buffet lunch. Our catering is set to be a great addition to this event and is sure to attract some extra guests to the club!
