The wedding took place at This Green Moon – a beautifully wild spot tucked away in the forest – and the couple’s gothic-themed day suited the setting down to the ground. Hog Roast Swillington made sure the food matched that tone, serving up hog roast sandwiches with applesauce and stuffing, alongside tomato and mozzarella salad, coleslaw, mixed salad, sweet potato and classic fries, plus butcher’s-style sausages with just the right amount of char. For the vegan guests, we prepared plenty of BBQ-pulled jackfruit, with two portions kept sauce-free for those who preferred it that way, so nobody had to compromise.
The couple couldn’t thank us enough for going the extra mile to make sure every single guest felt looked after, and it clearly paid off, with everyone tucking in happily throughout the day until barely a crumb remained.
