Stag dos are famous for a reason. They’re the last hurrah before the wedding bells ring, and for many, they’re a chance to make some serious memories with the lads. So, when Rory’s stag do came around, his mates came together to give him a proper send-off.
Before the evening’s antics began, there was one absolute must: food first. Everyone knows the golden rule – never drink on an empty stomach. And that’s where we came in. Hog Roast Rotherham was on hand to serve up a pre-party feast, and let’s just say… it was a hit.
The moment the grill got going, appetites kicked into gear. The smell alone was enough to gather the group, and within minutes, the serving table was surrounded. We laid out a spread fit for a king (or in this case, a stag). Beef burgers, handcrafted from the finest British meat and flame-grilled to juicy perfection, came loaded with bubbling cheese and crispy fried onions. Our grilled chicken? Charred, smoky, and devoured in record time.
To soak up what was sure to be a long night ahead, we piled on the carbs – just to be safe. Crispy sweet potato fries and classic chips were passed around like gold dust.
Not forgetting the veggie lovers, Hog Roast Rotherham’s stacked kebabs were a rainbow of grilled bell peppers, red onion, corn cobette wheels, and optional halloumi. A definite crowd-pleaser, if we do say so ourselves!
And the sides? We rustled up overflowing bowls of fresh, crunchy coleslaw and vibrant mixed salad that added colour, crunch, and a bit of balance to the feast. Plates were full, spirits were high, and with plenty to go around the lads weren’t shy about helping themselves to seconds… or thirds.
No frills, no fancy dress, just proper food with proper mates. That’s what made Rory’s stag do start off strong.
As the last few fries disappeared and the final burger was claimed, the lads were fuelled up and ready to take on whatever came next. We might not know how the night ended, but we know how it began – with good food, great laughs, and one happy stag.
Planning your own send-off? Start it like Rory did: well-fed and ready for anything with Hog Roast Rotherham by your side.
