Catering managers Chris and Kayleigh took the lead and built a spread that covered all the bases without ever feeling like it was playing it safe. The British classics showed up in fine form – bacon rolls, sausage rolls, plenty of sauces and stacked buns that made every combination feel like a considered choice rather than a grab-and-go afterthought. So far, so satisfying.
But then things got a little continental and honestly, that’s where it got really interesting. Flaky, buttery pastries that looked like they’d come straight out of a French patisserie window sat alongside artfully arranged fruit platters and fruit kebabs that were almost too pretty to touch. Almost.
The whole spread had that rare quality of looking genuinely impressive while also being the kind of food people actually want to eat first thing in the morning – which, if you’ve ever attended a corporate breakfast where the food missed that mark, you’ll know isn’t always a given.
