Catherine and Rob are the latest duo to trade grey skies for golden sands as they embark on their exciting move to Australia. But as thrilling as it is to start fresh somewhere sunny, it’s never easy saying goodbye. Leaving behind family, friends, and the familiar is tough—especially when you’re moving halfway around the world.
So, what’s the best way to soften the blow of such a big farewell? A killer leaving party, of course! And that’s exactly what Catherine and Rob got, complete with incredible food that had everyone raving. Thanks to Hog Roast Barnsley’s incredible catering dream duo, Chris and Kayleigh, this send-off was as memorable as it was mouth-watering!
The pièce de résistance? A full hog roast, slow-roasted to perfection until it was gloriously golden and juicy. The sight of that sizzling crackling alone had everyone salivating! And once the pig was carved, no one could resist digging in. The tender pulled pork paired perfectly with all the trimmings: sage and onion stuffing, tangy applesauce, crunchy coleslaw, fresh mixed leaf salad, and the softest rolls and wraps you can imagine. It was a finger-licking feast that satisfied every craving.
But it wasn’t just the meat lovers who were catered for. The veggie crowd were in heaven too, thanks to Hog Roast Barnsley’s grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi, zesty tzatziki dip and sweet chilli sauce. It was a spread so good that even the most dedicated carnivores were eyeing up those kebabs!
As the sun set on this epic party, laughter filled the air, and bellies were full. Catherine and Rob were surrounded by their nearest and dearest, soaking up every last moment before their big move. They couldn’t have asked for a better send-off and couldn’t thank Hog Roast Barnsley enough for helping make the occasion a success.
