Have you noticed that more and more couples are opting for smaller ceremonies these days? Whether it’s to keep things simple, save a bit of cash, or just enjoy a more romantic, personal moment, micro weddings and elopements are on the rise – BIG time. But just because you go small on the wedding doesn’t mean you have to skip the big celebration!
Take our most recent clients, Rachel and Graham, for example. After jetting off to Greece for a sunny destination wedding, they weren’t quite ready for the party to end. So, they brought the celebration back home with a follow-up gathering at the Woolley Edge Christmas Tree Farm in Wakefield – and Hog Roast Wakefield was delighted to be their chosen caterer.
With around 100 of their closest friends and family attending, the evening was full of joy, laughter, and (thanks to us) plenty of great food to go around. We had the utmost pleasure of keeping everyone well-fed and happy late into the night with one of our most popular menu choices.
This spectacular feast had everything! For starters, there was a whole hog roast with all the extra fixings, grilled veg and halloumi skewers served with flatbreads and a creamy tzatziki dip, plus an impressive choice of salads, ‘slaws, and mixed sweet potato and classic fries. It hit the spot.
Our catering crew made sure everything was ready on time and cooked to perfection. Guests were all smiles as they tucked into everything from warm, crusty hog roast rolls to lighter salad bowls. No one went without, and everyone found something they loved.
Most importantly, Rachel and Graham were thrilled with how it all turned out. From the smooth set-up and the delicious food to the no-fuss clean-up at the end, Hog Roast Wakefield handled everything so they could focus on enjoying their night without a worry.
So, if you recently eloped or had a small ceremony and now fancy a proper knees-up with your favourite people, it’s not too late! Get in touch with Hog Roast Wakefield today and we’ll gladly help you put together a celebration worth remembering.
