Do you know what’s funny? We all know weddings are a ton of work, and every sitcom shows engaged couples as frazzled wrecks while a million problems land in their laps. Yet we still think our own wedding will be different, don’t we? Everyone else is just doing it wrong, that’s all.
But then you start planning, and oh boy… Nobody warns you how many people you’ll have to speak to, or how many emails will vanish into the void without a reply. And let’s not forget the late-night scrolling for inspiration, which leaves you needing eye drops every morning.
Fortunately, there’s a simple cure: Wedding fayres! And as luck would have it, I Do Magazine has one coming up on the 1st of November, from 11am to 3pm, at Elsecar Heritage Centre.
This stunning industrial-style venue is about to become a wedding wonderland, with more than 20 of the region’s top wedding suppliers and experts under one roof – and yes, Spitting Pig South Yorkshire will, of course, be there among them.
Once you’ve soaked up the venue and perused the stalls, come and say hello to our lovely team. Chris and Kayleigh, our catering superstars, will be there all day and they’d love to talk through your dining plans. Maybe you just want a few ideas. Maybe you’ve got a list of catering questions as long as your arm. Or maybe you’re ready to book us on the spot. Whichever it is, Spitting Pig South Yorkshire is happy to help.
And here’s the best bit: we’ll be handing out samples of our signature hog roast, so you can taste the food before you say “I do”. Try getting that from a website. We’ll also be dishing out some tasty discounts to anyone who enquires with us on the day, because we’re nice like that.
