It’s not much of a secret that we’ve always loved this time of year. It’s when plans start to take shape, ideas get thrown around, and people begin thinking about what they want to celebrate in the year ahead. And the best part for us? No two weeks – or days – ever look the same. One week we might see us catering a relaxed family get-together, the next a big corporate event, followed by a wedding where everyone’s dressed to the nines and the crackling disappears in a matter of seconds.
That variety is what keeps things interesting. Hog Roast Barnsley is lucky to work with all sorts of people from all walks of life – private customers hosting birthdays, anniversaries, and garden parties. Businesses treating their teams or clients. Couples planning weddings and anniversary parties they’ll remember forever. Some events are planned months in advance with colour schemes and seating plans, others come together with a quick phone call days before the big do. Either way, we’re here for it.
And as 2026 gets underway, Hog Roast Barnsley is really looking forward to seeing what fills up our calendar this year. Spring and summer weddings, balmy garden parties, crisp autumn celebrations, winter parties, work dos, and everything in between. Big or small, formal or laid-back, we’re here to make sure the one thing they have in common is great catering.
We’re also excited for the chance to work with familiar faces again this year, as well as – hopefully – plenty of new ones. Honestly, there’s nothing better than turning up to an event and seeing the relief on someone’s face when they know the catering is well taken care of. From that first enquiry right through to the last plate being cleared, we take pride in making things run smoothly and our customers enjoy their events more for it.
