Wedding season might be over, but here at Hog Roast Beverley, we’re still as busy as ever, helping couples create unforgettable dining experiences for their special day! At the beginning of the month, our team had the pleasure of catering for Sarah and Rob’s beautiful wedding at The Barn at Willerby Hill, a truly magical venue nestled in the picturesque countryside just outside Beverley.
Located on Willerby Hill, this stunning venue offers panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, creating a breathtaking backdrop for weddings. Whether it’s the rustic charm of the barn or the modern touches scattered throughout, The Barn at Willerby Hill effortlessly blends the old and the new, making it the ideal choice for couples seeking a timeless wedding with a contemporary twist.
Despite the stormy weather and dark grey clouds that hovered above, the atmosphere at the venue remained nothing short of magical. The rain may have poured, but it did nothing to dampen the spirits of the couple or their guests. Sarah and Rob looked absolutely radiant as they exchanged vows, and it was an honour for Hog Roast Beverley to be part of their special day. We were thrilled to serve them their first meal as a married couple, and went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect.
For their wedding feast, we crafted a Southern Slow Roast banquet that was the perfect combination of flavour and comfort. The highlight of the menu was our Cajun-spiced whole roast chickens, which we slow-cooked to tender perfection on the flat top for several hours. Alongside, we served up our signature Texan-style beef brisket and Louisiana-style sticky pork ribs, which were a hit with guests.
To accompany the meats, we served a variety of sides, including mixed sweet potato fries, traditional fries, and a colourful medley of glazed seasonal vegetables. The groom, ever the gentleman, lovingly shielded his new wife with an umbrella as they made their way to our outdoor gazebo to fill their plates. Guests eagerly followed, and the food was devoured in record time!
Hog Roast Beverley was thrilled to receive numerous compliments on the presentation, flavour, and service. It’s always an honour to be part of such a special occasion, and the positive feedback made the day even more memorable for us.
