For Callan who wanted to surprise his spouse with a party in honour of their wedding anniversary, getting Hog Roast Rawcliffe involved was a no-brainer. After discussing our varied and extensive menu options with our catering manager, Marcus, the client quickly opted for our southern slow roast feast which offers a wide selection of flavour variations making it the ideal menu for all occasions.
Keeping the guest list to a minimum, Callan had invited 25 of the couples closest friends and family members to celebrate the milestone event, and with vegetarians among those set to attend, he had asked Marcus to ensure there would be a meat-free option available on the day. Marcus assured Callan that this wouldn’t be a problem, as one of the biggest things we pride ourselves on at Hog Roast Rawcliffe is being inclusive. This means that while we are a meat-lovers paradise, we can also offer something to those with different dietary requirements.
When Hog Roast Rawcliffe arrived at Callan’s home, they were immediately welcomed through to the client’s back garden where they quickly began setting up for the event. Gazebo pitched, and HogMaster switched on, Marcus and the team wasted no time in creating the feast of BBQ pork butt, cajun spiced whole roast chickens and Louisiana sticky pork ribs with sides of mixed fries, creamy mac and cheese, Greek salad and Memphis style crunchy coleslaw. Not forgetting the vegetarians, the team also prepared our famous grilled veggie and halloumi skewers with tzatziki dip and flatbreads.
With ample food on offer for everyone, including a basket of gluten-free rolls for the guests to experiment with different flavour combo’s, Callan was over the moon with how everything had turned out, and he has since been in touch to thank Hog Roast Rawcliffe once again for helping him, and his partner celebrate their anniversary.
