Have You Catered For An Event Similar To Ours Before?
Spitting Pig has been established for over 25 years now and we have attended thousands of events of all kinds. Each event is unique to us and all events are treated with the same professionalism and standard no matter if it is informal or formal, a garden party or a wedding. Our experienced chefs will always deliver a faultless service.
What Is The Minimum Number Of Guests?
We have no minimum or maximum number of guests, we believe that regardless of how many guests you are inviting you should still be able to have the food / menu of your choice. Even if it 15 guests or 1,500 guests they will all still receive the same quality and service.
How Much Is A Hog Roast?
Our prices are all tailored to each individual event and specific menu. To receive a quote please do contact us either via phone, email or by completing our online enquiry form and we will be able to have a quote with you on the same day.
How Much Notice Do I Need To Give?
Although Hog Roasts are especially popular in the summer, we are busy with events all year round and to guarantee your date to be free we would recommend booking a few months in advance. More importantly so for the events to be held on a weekend.
How Far Do You Travel?
Personally as a team we can cover the whole of Yorkshire, however we are a nationwide company so if your event is out of Yorkshire please do still let us know as Spitting Pig will still be able to cater for you.
My Event Is Indoor, Will That Be A Problem?
All of our hog roast machines can be safely used outdoors or indoors in a well ventilated room. If we are catering indoors we can confirm that the venue will be left just how we found it with no marks, spillages etc. Although if your venue would not like the machine bringing inside we can arrange to cook outdoors and serve the food to your guests indoors.
What About My Vegetarian Guests? Will I Need To Cater For Them?
Not at all! Our menus are designed with fantastic vegetarian options for your guests. We also cater for any other dietary requirement such as vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free etc as we want to make sure that all your guests can enjoy a fantastic meal with us. By choosing Spitting Pig no guest will be going home hungry!
I’m Not Sure If All My Guests Would Like Pork, Is There Another Option?
Although our name may lead you to think that all is offer is Hog Roasts, we in fact offer a full variety of other meat alternatives. We understand not everyone would like pork so would like an alternative, or maybe want a selection of meats for their guests to choose from. On our menus we offer chicken, beef, lamb, turkey and many other alternatives that can still be cooked the delicious slow roasted way!
Do I Need To Provide Anything Myself?
Booking with the Spitting Pig will mean everything is taken care of for you. No hidden costs and no hidden details that will leave you stuck on the day. We will bring absolutely everything that we need to provide you with a phenomenal catering experience. If you would like to provide anything yourself that won’t be a problem at all, please do let us know when we are providing you with your quote and we can ensure that it is removed from the menu for you.
